INDOS Financial, the independent fund depositary and oversight business, has named Elaine Breen as the new head of legal and compliance of its Irish operations, based in Enniscorthy, County Wexford.
Bill Prew, CEO INDOS Financial, said that Breen’s first task will be to complete INDOS’ application to gain Central Bank of Ireland authorisation to provide depositary services to Irish domiciled private equity and real estate funds.
“We are very pleased that Breen has chosen to join INDOS in Ireland where she will be
establishing and developing our in-house legal and compliance capability”, he added.
Previously, Breen served as general counsel at BlackBee Investments, and prior to this, held senior roles at IFG Group and Willis.
In a recent interview with Asset Servicing Times, Prew explained that although the industry has been readjusting priorities since the COVID-19 pandemic arrived, regulators have been equally busy.
